New album Wylie & The Wild West - Relic

Wylie & the Wild West | Relic    Wylie Gustafson earned his mastery of cowboy/country music and its core subject matters the hardest way and almost certainly the best way- by playing thousands of shows and working his family’s fourth generation Montana ranch as he experiences the life that gives his music a dynamic that is inherently genuine.
It’s been a long and magnificent ride playing in a little 4 piece cowboy band performing our unique style of western music that has so far lasted over 25 years. Our art has taken us to 45 of the 50 United States and all the way around the world. Along the way we have discovered a loyal following of music lovers who appreciate what we do. I can tell you that being a “yodeling cowboy” in the 21st century is not the easiest way of making living… but it has never failed to be rewarding. Like a coyote eking out a living on the remote American plains we have somehow survived against all odds. The golden era of country (1950s- 1960s) has always been a part of the solid foundation that supports our style. We revisit those classic sounds in our own unique way on Relic

Mark Utley - Four Chords and a Lie

Mark Utley is the songwriter and male voice behind the acclaimed Cincinnati, Ohio roots/Americana band Magnolia Mountain. On this, his first solo album, Mark features five originals in the straight-up Honky Tonk Country vein (performed with his all-star side project Bulletville), along with five original songs performed in more intimate, stripped-down arrangements.

"Like a sculptor who has immense respect for the permanence of the stone but also implicitly trusts his chisel and creative vision, Utley shapes the raw material of Americana’s various stylistic permutations into songs that are comfortably familiar yet blazingly original." - Brian Baker, CItyBeat
