It follows the successful Country Proud
, including its "anthemic" title track and earned the duo their first
ARIA (Australian Recording Industry Association) number one country
album, mainstream ARIA chart success, a CMC (Country Music Channel)
Music Award plus numerous other nominations.
With the new work, Drew McAlister and Troy Kemp say they wanted to make
"the biggest, boldest and bravest album ever made by an Australian
country act".
Harder To Tame
has 10 track, described as "all tied together with songs that touch on
real issues and core blue collar values – the cornerstone of McAlister
Kemp's loyal fan connection".
The album's first single and title track was released in August, the second, Tats , is the latest single.
Harder To Tame
will be officially launched in the evening of Saturday January 25 at
the West Tamworth League Club following the Golden Guitar Awards.
The duo will also make a number of other "signing" appearances during the Tamworth Country Music Festival.
And they will follow the launch with the "Harder To Tame National Tour" with dates to be continually announced throughout 2014.
